Leitz Riesling Rudesheimer Klosterlay Kabinett 2022 – 750ml

Further east and upstream of the Klosterlay is the Magdalenenkreuz. The name translates to the cross of Mary Magdalene, named after a red sandstone cross that can be found amongst the vines. Here the soils are comprised of sandy loamfatter and ideal for ripe expression; the riesling grown here is always textured, opulent and forward. Though the wine is of Sptlese quality it perceivably drinks more like a Kabinett.
