Golden State Cider Crimson Gold

The Ventura County release from our CA farms series is 100% crimson gold apples harvested from Cuyama orchards in Ventura County, California. At 33000′ in elevation and on the interior of the Sierra Madre Coastal mountain range, Cuyama orchards enjoys ideal weather for growing crisp, crunchy apples bursting with flavor and acidity. Fresh aromas of pineapple are balanced by rich notes of cinnamon and vanilla, with supporting tea notes. The acidity is bright likely from the higher elevation of the orchard, in a variety known to be tart. The acidity does not, however, diminish the body which is still full and leads to a long lasting finish. A beautiful cider that is both refreshing and decadent.
